Our Story

From Guernsey to Guatemala and Panama in-between!

We met, we talked, we laughed, we cried, we travelled to many destinations around the world and most importantly we fell in love. Then during a holiday to Japan in November 2023, Ana said “Yes” and the wedding plans were under way!

Chris Bisson

Chris was born in Guernsey, Channel Islands to parents Barry and Jackie. He has one younger brother, Ian who is two and a half years junior. Chris grew up playing many different sports from a young age, is a former full time fire fighter and is still always seeking his next adventure to explore new and exciting destinations around the world. Apart from Ana, and as you might know, travel and golf are his main passions although padel is well on the way to be added too!

Rosales Balconi

Ana Lucia is the youngest of three children  to parents Douglas and Judy, with brother, Juan, and the eldest is sister Victoria. Ana was always a little cheeky growing up, running away and getting lost on several occasions (to Judy’s frustration!) probably in search of her next adventure! Ana loves her demanding career and is also a lover of traveling and  still seeking mores adventures along the way! A perfect match with Chris!

Celebration

ChrisAna will be a Wedding and Celebration held over three days. A Pre-Wedding Party, a day to relax and enjoy Antigua, Guatemala and the main event - The Wedding Ceremony and Reception.

Transfers and Parking

We can arrange shuttles directly from airport to Antigua. A car is not required. If you do drive hotels can provide parking.

Food & Drinks

Welcome Party Drinks and canapés provided . Further food and drinks can be provided throughout the evening. Wedding Day - All food and drinks provided! Please advise us of any dietary requirements.

Useful Tips
Everything is within walking distance in Antigua, however, you can also hire an Uber or Tuk Tuk very easily. They are very good value.

For the Girls
Please wear platforms and NOT high heals. Antigua, Guatemala is all stone and cobbled streets and high heels is definitely not recommended. The wedding reception venue is also in a garden so you will be more comfortable in platforms.
